Large and Spacious Interior Options

The new Honda Passport, for all of its size, offers two rows of seating with a five-passenger capacity. There is no third row, but that opens up room for cargo in the back--up to 78.0 cubic feet of cargo space total, with convenient underfloor storage for lesser-used items or gear you'd like to hide away. Available features in the 2019 Honda Passport include heated front and rear seats, ventilated front seats and a heated steering wheel, and a one-touch power moonroof.

This Isn't the Passport You Once Knew

This design is a far cry from the Passport we once knew pre-2002. The new model isn't as hefty as the old body-on-frame build, but its Honda Global Light Truck platform (the one you'll find on the Honda Ridgeline and the Honda Pilot, too) offers plenty of support with a smooth ride. 7.8 inches of ground clearance makes this a capable, powerful option for drivers.

Standard Power and Muscle

The 2019 Honda Passport comes standard with a 280-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 engine paired to a 9-speed automatic transmission. Its more powerful than the Honda CR-V but more built for adventure than the Honda Pilot. Intelligent Traction Management and available i-VTM4 All-Wheel-Drive System makes this one capable SUV. The Honda Passport can even tow up to 5,500 pounds when properly equipped.

Technology and Safety Features

Tech features for the 2019 Honda Passport include an 8.0-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging, a premium 10-speaker audio system, Mobile Hotspot Capability for smartphones and devices, and a Honda Satellite-Linked Navigation System. But it's not all about the goodies--the Honda Passport also offers a full suite of Honda Sensing driver-assistance features.
