2019 Honda HR-V in Charleston

The 2019 Honda HR-V is the Smallest Crossover in the Charleston Honda Lineup, But the Biggest Personality

The Pilot is strong and calm. The CR-V is mature and adventurous. But the 2019 Honda HR-V is pure fun in a muscular and compact body, wrapped in iconic Honda design. It's a big personality in a small package, and it's easy to see why Charleston drivers can't get enough. For 2019, trim levels include the Honda HR-V LX, all-new Sport, EX, EX-L, and an all-new Touring.

Honda's "Magic" Interior

When you learn that the 2019 Honda HR-V offers a whopping 24.3 cubic feet of cargo space behind the second-row seat, you might think it's actually magic. When you learn that this small SUV then offers up to 58.8 cubic feet of total interior cargo space, then you'll know for sure that it's Magic: Honda's second-row Magic Seat, at least.

New Sporty Exterior

The addition of an all-new Sport trim for the 2019 HR-V adds a whole new visual element to the lineup. The Sport trim--which sits between the base LX and the well-equipped EX--is styled with a black rear bumper and a flashy blacked-out honeycomb grille.

Peppy Power

You shouldn't expect your subcompact crossover to power off the line like a sports car--but that doesn't mean that you can't have high standards for comfort and dynamics. The 2019 Honda HR-V's standard 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine is good for 141 horsepower and 127 pound-feet of torque, and feels fun to drive. All-Wheel Drive is available on all trim levels, and standard on the Touring trim. New for 2019, the Continuously Variable Transmission is standard on all levels, and Honda has phased out the manual transmission option for this crossover.

Standard Safety and Tech

The impressive Honda Sensing suite of safety and driver-assistance features comes standard on EX, EX-L, and Touring trims, and adds Collision Mitigation Braking System, Road Departure Mitigation System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Lane Keeping Assist System to this SUV's list of other standard passive and active safety features. Standard tech features include a rearview camera and a 5.0-inch infotainment display, and you can upgrade to fun options in higher trim levels.
