2019 Honda CR-V in Charleston

Does the 2019 Honda CR-V Have Any Changes from Last Year?

The long answer may include a list of newer exterior colors, a theorizing of turbo power, and a lot of discussion of seat comfort. The short answer is very short: no. After such a successful introduction of the newest generation for the 2017 model-year, there have been few changes to both 2018 and 2019 models. Trim levels include the LX, EX, EX-L, and the Touring. The EX-L w/ Navi is no longer an option because the navigation features are now found in the Touring model.

Cabin Comfort and Cargo

The interior of the Honda CR-V is comfortable, classic, and versatile for families. Though we wish it offered Honda's brilliant Magic Seat option, its ability to store up to 75.8 cubic feet of cargo is impressive and convenient. Options like dual-zone heating and AC, premium seating materials, heated front seats, and even expressive ambient interior lighting let you customize the look and feel.

New-Gen Exterior

The new 2019 Honda CR-V hasn't strayed far from its original, classic design. While it doesn't feature the big spare wheel on the side-opening hatch anymore, it still keeps the confident, squared-off muscular exterior features that drivers love. The new generation brings a larger body and 8.2 inches of ground clearance.

Turbo Power to Four Wheels

Select new 2019 Honda CR-V models are the sportiest that they've ever been--because, the newest generation of compact SUVs introduced a new available 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, good for 190 horsepower and able to be matched up with Honda's impressive All-Wheel-Drive system. An AWD Turbo CR-V? Yes, please. Front-wheel drive models, with a more practical 184-horsepower 2.4-liter four, are available as standard.

Honda Sensing, Tech, and Smartphone Features

Honda Sensing driver-assistance features are available on Honda CR-V trim levels from the EX up, and include options like Adaptive Cruise Control, Collision Mitigation Braking, Road Departure Mitigation, and more. A 7.0-inch touchscreen display comes standard on most trims, and can seamlessly integrate with your smartphone through Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
